Challenge.

Ovolo is a disruptor hotel brand that is reinventing the hotel stay, 1 guest at a time, across Asia Pacific.

Ovolo had already reached 8 hotels across Hong Kong and Australia and was gathering a following within the 25-40 demographic of forward thinkers, creatives and fashionistas.

With many more hotels across Australia planned, they needed to launch a national campaign to establish their brand within the wider market.

 

Creative.

TV was going to be the tent pole for the campaign, with an integrated digital campaign to follow.

Our solution was a tongue in cheek visual, focussing on the key differentiating factors of the hotel. Everything from the art, to the free goodie bags in the room, were featured in a “day in the life” style edit.

Neon animation allows us to communicate the fresh playful vibe of the brand, whilst “non-typical” actions like cannonballing into the pool share the friendly and non-conventional approach Ovolo takes.

This style not only works on digital formats but can be cut as a fast-paced 30 second TV ad.
